Job Overview

The Study Management Global Team Manager is responsible for the coordination and management of a client global team to ensure the successful implementation of the strategy, structures, processes and metrics of the team in order to deliver outstanding customer satisfaction.

Essential Job Duties:

1. Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the Study Management team(s) including but not limited to:
1. Ensure the development of a competent workforce to meet growth plans within budget.
2. Manage the workload balance.
3. Ensure the seamless integration of the project management team services.
4. Accountable for the activities and outcomes of the Study Management team(s), taking corrective action where appropriate.
5. Ensure the consistent implementation, use and review of SOPs.
6. Ensure appropriate resource allocation to successfully implement and execute project plans to achieve agreed upon service levels.

1. Participate in the Study Management team tasks related to planning, budgeting and cross Project Management team issues.

1. Instill and manage a culture of continuous improvement, quality and productivity.

1. Manage and supervise staff including but not limited to:
1. Coordinate and monitor progress to ensure achievement of Study Management goals.
2. Day-to-day management and supervision of individual team members.
3. Complete thorough, timely and well-documented performance evaluations and interim progress reviews.
4. Establish and monitor performance objectives for direct reports and taking corrective action where appropriate.
5. Identify appropriate successors/deputies for all key roles within the project management team(s).

1. Monitor, track, manage and ensure resolution of all customer complaints, issues

and concerns.

1. Ensure all services failures are identified, tracked and resolved in a timely manner. Take preventative action to ensure that the same service failure(s) does not occur again.

1. Effective and timely adherence to management communications, meetings and procedures.

1. Accountable for the effective management of the Study Management team budget.

1. Work with appropriate Business Development Directors to know the culture and pipeline of customers in order to align resources.

1. Ability to travel.

1. Other duties as assigned.

Education/Qualifications

Minimum Required:

* Four (4) year degree; science degree preferred.
* High School Diploma required.

Experience

Required

* Minimum 3-5 years of management and supervisory Experience .
* Demonstrated strong customer service skills.
* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong planning, organizational, and problem solving skills.
* Proven record of driving continuous improvement.
* Demonstrated a high degree of initiative and ability to work collaboratively.
* Demonstrated Experience in team building, influencing and conflict resolution.
* Proven track record of successful project completion.

Preferred

* Experience with clinical trial development.
* Demonstration of strong contribution to teamwork.
* Strong change management skills.
