Job Overview

- Recruiting partner to FSPx business, collaborating with hiring teams, HR, and recruitment process outsourcing provider to provide recruiting solutions to business needs. Proactively engages in workforce planning to create and implement custom recruiting strategies aligned to global processes.
- Manages full-cycle recruitment activity (sources, screens and secures candidates) for a wide range of positions, including senior level and technical positions.
- Develops innovative sourcing solutions, evaluating current and recommending new sourcing opportunities. Develops and maintains effective recruiting networks (e.g., college and job fair recruiting, conference or meeting attendance, trade journal use, and relationships with agencies and vendors).
- Owns delivery of the hiring manager and candidate Experience , including promotion of the Covance employment brand, content marketing strategy, and social media presence.
- Evangelizes and educates hiring teams on recruitment processes, effective interviewing and selection, the business value of diversity, Employee Referral and other programs.
- Communicates recruiting strategy, initiatives, and results in periodic business reports (monthly or quarterly), frequent presentations, meetings, workshops, and other interactions.


* Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources with 8+ years of related Experience .


- Attention to detail, organization and follow up skills are critical to this position.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professionalism with first class communication, presentation and interpersonal skills required.
- Resourceful, decisive and proactive. Results oriented with excellent organizational skills while working in an environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking.
- Able to source candidates creatively and determine new and unique approaches, depending upon business unit need.
- Excellent interpersonal qualities, including problem solving, influencing, negotiating, facilitating and strong partnership skills.
- Able to interact and build relationships with candidates and all levels of the organization (including senior management).
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
- Strong basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, PeopleSoft, and applicant tracking systems).
- Knowledge of Human Resources practices, laws and regulations in geographic areas of operation, especially related to recruiting.
