Job Overview

The Program Manager (PM) has the responsibility for the management of the Chemistry Solutions (CS) project portfolio based on the CS Strategy. The central point of contact for designated programs of work with the accountability for leading at the program level, supporting project teams to ensure requirements and deliverables are met based on the programs goals and objectives. The PM will have full oversight of all program activities using the standard project management tools to ensure effective program governance, including financial, systems/IT and resource management. They will identify specific program and project requirements, engage with the appropriate subject matter experts, project teams, support functions, process owners and sponsors to meet key milestones and ensure effective progress throughout the program lifecycle. The role is a global position so the candidate could be US or UK base.

Job Duties:

* Lead programs surrounding strategic initiatives independently at the regional or global level utilizing standard project management tools.
* Mentor process improvement Project Leads with minimum supervision.
* Work with the business and Change Management to identify improvement opportunities in order to drive efficiency, quality and cost savings.
* Using data provide guidance and influence to the leadership team, assisting in the prioritization of projects impacting the organizational strategy.
* Drive the Change Management culture across CS.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Qualifications

* Bachelor of Science/Arts (BS/BA) or equivalent relevant education. Experience may be substituted for education.
* Preferred: Ideally looking for someone with IT Experience (leading IT based projects)
* Lean Six Sigma Certification or Project Management Certification or ability to obtain certification within 1-2 year(s).

Experience

* Minimum of 4 years' Experience in a relevant field.
* Computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) and SharePoint.
* The ability to communicate with all levels across the organization.
