Job Overview

The Global Specimen Solutions Japan Project Manager and Liaison serves as the primary point of contact for Japanese clients, and coordinates the support of this client within the broader Global Specimen Solutions organization. The incumbent will provide direct support and service where possible, and will leverage an expanded team as necessary

* Provide direct support of and serve as ambassador to Japanese clients of Global Specimen Solutions. Working directly with the commercial organization in the pre-win environment, and then assuming direct accountability for relationship and service in the post-win environment. This will include in-person visits, and phone and email support of client inquiries.
* Provide Project Management oversight of local Japan-only studies, or for global studies where client's Japan office is the lead. Provide local Project Management support for global trials with Japanese participation.
* Liaise with functional sponsor and CRO/vendor contacts as necessary to obtain needed information and achieve client deliverables
* Provide language and cultural translation to ensure the client's needs are understood and delivered to. Beyond daily support, this will require the following specific tasks:
* Review of protocols and supporting materials written in Japanese, and loading of the Specimen Test Plan in GlobalCODE® according to the GSS process for Clin Reg Ops.
* Review Master Informed Consent Templates written in Japanese, and apply consent codification in English according to the GSS informed consent codification process.

* Cross-trained in all aspects of GSS services to become well-versed and well-connected across the organization in order to meet client needs and support the growth of GSS services in the Japanese market.




5 - 10 Years of Experience in pharmaceutical drug development/CRO industry required; Experience in central laboratory and project management strongly preferred; Experience with data management and/or software preferred but not required. Japanese and english communications needed.
