Job Overview

The Director of HR Program Management Office requires an Experience d leader who Experience running a formal PMO at a global/enterprise scale. This leader will have deep Experience in various project management methodologies, including both agile and waterfall project management approaches as well as the ability to act as a thought-leader with best practice templates and tools for project/program.

The successful candidate will have:

* The ability to establish and maintain best practice status and executive dashboards and other metrics for all projects is required.
* Accountability for project / program planning, project management tools and methods, training of project managers, project resource planning and estimating, annual project portfolio planning and ongoing portfolio management, and effective delivery of all projects.
* An understanding of how to establish an HR PM “center of excellence”, so that all methods are best practices and consistent, and so that a consistent level of quality and delivery success can be driven by the HR PMO.
* Responsibility for the health and success of all HR projects, and will be expected to be very hands on to ensure quality, budget, and time objectives are met for every HR project.
* Accountability for detailed preparation and ongoing management of project financials, including ensuring budget availability, tracking of spend vs plan, and ensuring payments to outside vendors are completed as planned.
* The capability to represent the HR PMO with executives, to manage various views of resource capacity and other activities needed to support planning and execution or project work or to react to changes in the portfolio of projects as needed.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to formally facilitate working sessions and present to senior level executive.



* Bachelor's Degree
* PMI PMP Certification



* 5 years or more of Experience running a formal global program management office
* Experience in direct management/mentoring of PM staff
* Deep knowledge of project planning/estimating tools (specifically including MS project)
