Job Overview

The Senior Inventory Coordinator is responsible for proactive management of inventory levels stored in the Warehouse. The Coordinator will work with external departments to define and adjust inventory levels to meet their business demands. The Coordinator will be the primary point of contact to resolve damaged good returns with Procurement and / or the vendor. The daily tasks will involve generating reports space allocation, for obsolete inventory, loading new item detail into the inventory system and supporting the Receiving / Putaway Warehouse functions. The weekly / monthly tasks will require proactive usage analysis and meeting facilitation with Global Kit Production, Laboratory departments, Global Warehousing, Project Management. This position will support the Team Lead responsible for the Warehouse Pick Operators. The Coordinator position will also have management responsibilities for the Warehouse operations in the absence of the Warehouse Supervisor. The primary function of the Coordinator is to maintain inventory control based on inventory usage analysis, research with Finance and communication with End-users.

Essential Functions

* Run weekly Expired Goods Reports
* Investigate all expired goods with End-user or Procurement
* Facilitate accurate expired goods reporting
* Maintain min/max info based on usages from expired goods
* Photo and Weight entry in Exacta
* Manage return to stock from KP
* Coordinate Inventory Returns / Damage replacement etc. *
* New Item Set-Up
* Periodic review of obsolete inventory with Finance
* Provide proactive inventory reporting for Laboratory based on department requirements
* Review and arrange inventory shipments between CLS locations for lot specific reagents
* Provide leadership and work-related training for Warehouse staff

Education/Qualifications

* High school graduate or equivalent required
* Certified to operate Warehouse fork trucks and order pickers
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
* General Personal computer skills required with some Experience in spreadsheet development.
* Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

Experience

* 5 year Warehouse / Distribution Center inventory related Experience
* Strong MS Excel Spreadsheet and MS Word Processing skills
* 4 years Experience with Enterprise resource planning (ERP) system or Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) system
* The individual must be able to lift seventy- (70) pounds routinely.
* Certified fork-lift, order picker and pallet jack operator.
