Job Overview

The Program Manager (PM) has the responsibility for the management of the Chemistry Solutions (CS) project portfolio based on the CS Strategy. The central point of contact for designated programs of work with accountable for leading at the program level, supporting project teams to ensure that requirements and deliverables are met based on the programs goals and objectives. The PM will have full oversight of all program activities using the standard project management tools to ensure effective program governance, this includes financial, systems/IT and resource requirements. They will identify specific program and project requirements, engage with the appropriate subject matter experts, project teams, support functions, process owners and sponsors to meet key milestones and ensure effective progress throughout the program lifecycle. This role is a global so the candidate could be US or UK base.

Job Duties:

* Lead programs surrounding strategic initiatives independently at the regional or global level utilizing standard project management tools.
* Mentor process improvement Project Leads within the business as required within the program management structure.
* Mentor new Green Belts and Project leads with minimal supervision.
* Work with all levels of the business and Change Management to identify improvement opportunities in order to drive efficiency, quality and cost savings that will improve the organizations profitability.
* Utilizing data provide guidance and influence leadership to prioritize projects with the greatest impact on efficiency, quality and cost savings that will improve the organizations profitability.
* Drive the Change Management culture across CS.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

Education / Qualifications

* Bachelor of Science/Arts (BS/BA) or equivalent relevant education. Experience may be substituted for education.
* Lean Six Sigma Certification or Project Management Certification or ability to obtain certification within 1-2 year(s).


* Minimum of 4 years of Experience in a relevant field
* Computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) and SharePoint
* Communication skills with all levels within an organization
