Job Overview

Job Summary

* Analyzes complex end user needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs.
* Determines specific business application software requirements to address complex business needs.
* Develops project plans and identifies and coordinates resources, involving those outside the unit.
* Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing.
* Acts as a resource to users of the software to address questions/issues. May provide direction and guidance to team members and serves as an expert for the team.
* Responsible for serving as the liaison between the business and IT in translating complex business needs into application software

Job Duties

* Build and maintain relationships with the internal and external user community
* Understand cross functional business and technology processes and priorities
* Work with team members at other locations (globally)
* Ensure regulatory requirements are incorporated into decision making and implementation activities
* Identify and raise concerns if and when needed. WFL will act as ultimate decision maker when resolving and escalating issues within workflow responsibility
* Ensure delivery of assigned projects within established timelines and scope.
* Facilitate resolution and deployment of code fixes through process to ensure timely resolution.
* Develop and conduct training of application across business sites
* Lead and facilitate meetings
* Travel less than 10% per year, these trips will be for team meetings and implementation

Education/Qualifications

Education

* Bachelor degree in related field or 3 years of equivalent related Experience

Experience

Minimum Required

At least 3 years Experience in Laboratory operations or in support to Laboratory operations
