Laboratory Corporation of America has an immediate opening for a Medical Director, Board Certified Clinical Pathologist to support high-volume coagulation and immunohematology testing for Esoterix laboratories (a division of Labcorp, Inc.).

Primary responsibilities include;

* Interpretation and clinical support of complex special coagulation work-ups
* Clinical decision-making support of immunohematology testing
* Development and oversight of certain donor testing possible

Additional Details;

* Part-time or full-time consultant role
* Required onsite at the Denver, CO site to complete work. Relocation or weekly commutes to the Denver location would be required. Some work can be completed in San Diego location.
* 10-20 hours/wk.
* Flexible schedule required depending on volume of work fluctuations
* No supervisory responsibilities

Education/Qualifications

* MD/DO degree
* Board Certification in Transfusion Medicine

Experience

* Complex coagulation testing Experience
