Job Overview

**Note: This can be a remote role. Team is located in Indianapolis, IN.

The Technical Lead (Cache) is responsible for serving as a subject matter expert for the Intersystems technology stack and provides technical leadership to a team of application developers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Incumbents in this position will be accountable to:

* Interprets business requirements and defines technical alternatives, tools, and approaches
* Actively participates in design of technical solutions
* Develops, tests, implements and documents technical solutions to address business requirements
* Works with other team members to derive effort estimates, time tables and project plans
* Mentors/guides less Experience d application developers
* Represents the development team in project settings and audits
* Collaborates with other technical resources to integrate across tiers, platforms, and responsibilities
* Ensures expected application performance levels are achieved
* Manages technical aspects of application to ensure timely and effective implementations
* Understands and complies with established Application Life Cycle Methodology
* Ensures all Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements are met


* Bachelor's degree in appropriate technical discipline is required. MS preferred.
* Certified technical professional in relevant technologies.
* Expert level Cache developer: Cache Mumps and Cache Object Script
* Computer science fundamentals in object-oriented design and data structures


- 10 or more years of professional Experience in software development
- Experience developing APIs and RPCs
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful Web services
- Experience with XML and JSON data formats
- Experience with both Waterfall and Agile lifecycle methodologies

- Experience with using Java a plus
