Our Market Access and Phase IV Solutions group helps our clients generate real-world evidence to support the value of their products. In performing evidence generation, we analyze existing data or design and conduct our own studies. Using this data, we can help clients differentiate their products, giving a product launch a significant advantage and driving sales in the market. This is an exciting time to join our Evidence Generation team.

* Directs engagement: Ensures data are collected according to Covance's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and within agreed upon timelines and budgets, including coordinating the required input from clients, other Covance departments and external advisors and identifying when a project scope has changed and a change order is required.
* Understand Client Requirements: Works with clients to define how the assignment will be performed and determine deliverables that will be presented by the Firm.
* Manage and Direct Data Collection and Analysis: Identifies sources and manages or directs the day to day collection of information through primary and secondary research. Seeks consults from colleagues, as appropriate, to ensure that appropriate quantitative and qualitative analytical techniques are performed allowing inferences and conclusions to be drawn.
* Develop Findings and Recommendations: Uses information and data collected to prepare specific findings and recommendations that meet client requirements.
* Organize and Present Deliverables: Reviews and revises written memos, correspondence, and reports; conducts phone and in-person presentations to clients to describe data sources, explain patterns found in the data and indicate how findings and recommendations were developed.
* Manage Project Financial Health: Continuously evaluates financial status of client engagement to monitor and assess scope creep and budget deviations. Holds discussions with client to on scope creep and manages change orders, as appropriate.
* Initiate repeat business: Establishes business relationships with current clients that result in repeat business for the firm.
* Process: Continuously evaluate processes and areas for improvement, recommending new process for the ongoing development of consulting processes to ensure processes are continuously improved.
* Advise Staff: Supports senior management in implementing practice policies. Acts as advisor to less Experience d consulting staff, orienting them on firm policies and career development objectives.
* Prepare Proposals: Prepares and reviews proposals for consulting services following standard formats used for previous engagements.
* Market and Sell Services: Work with Sales and Marketing and other CMA colleagues to prepare and present capabilities presentations.

Education/Qualifications

Doctorate degree in epidemiology or phramacoepidemiology.

Experience

Must have 7+ years of Experience in observational research including business development (proposal writing, capabilities presentations, bid defenses) and leading study teams to implement real-world evidence studies such as:

* retrospective database studies
* chart review studies
* prospective studies (including non-interventional observational, interventional observational, pragmatic trials)

Experience preparing protocols, analysis plans, and study reports and familiartiy with real-world data sources is required. Must have knowledge of GPP and STROBE guidelines. Proficiency with SAS is a plus.

Must have the following skills:

* Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
* Effictively communicate with people at all levels of the organization.
* Strong project management skills.
* Work independently in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple activities at one time and meeting short deadlines.
* Proficiency in various software programs, including Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint preferred.
* Effectively work in a team environment.
* Collaborate and work with peers to accomplish tasks assigned.
* Ability to prioritize and manage workload and meet project deadlines.
