Job Overview

* Learn and use electronic testing and validation tools
* Develop Integration and System test strategies for project and maintenance releases of software solutions.
* Write and execute Integration, Regression, and System test scripts.
* Ensure compliance with validation procedures and standards.
* Develop and execute data quality checks of the production systems.

Education/Qualifications

* BS/MS in computer science, information systems, life sciences, or work equivalent.

* This person must be a flexible, self-motivated team player with a positive attitude.
* The candidate must possess strong communications skills.
* Open to learn and migrate to new technologies
* Is clear about one's own and the company's goals and focuses on seeing the work through to completion. Consistently set ambitious performance and work standards for oneself, seeking to achieve standards of excellence beyond requirements.

Experience

Required:

* Has good Experience in reading and understanding requirements, testing automation, quality assurance and integration methodologies.

* Individual must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and have demonstrated good problem solving and analytical skills.
* Proven ability to work effectively as a team member and can work with limited or most of the times no supervision on projects.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* The candidate needs to demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects.
* 2+ Years Experience working with computer software in a professional environment
* Proven ability to follow priorities and timelines.

Preferred:

* Experience in pharmaceutical R&D, clinical development and/or healthcare IT.

* 2+ Years Experience working with formal Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies or Covance quality processes
* 1+ Years Experience in analyzing requirements and designing and executing test strategies.
* 1+ years Experience developing test strategies
* SQL development Experience is a plus
