Job Overview

Covance is currently seeking a Research Assistant in the I&I Department in Madison, WI.

As part of Global Immunology and Immunotoxicology (I&I) department, provide support to Clinical, Safety Assessment (SA), and standalone studies over a wide range of Immunology and Immunotoxicology platforms, supporting enhanced solutions based approach to Clients requests.

The jobholder has specific scientific responsibilities which include participating in all procedures in the operational areas of I&I. These include assays, metrology and general Laboratory support duties. The jobholder will assist the Senior Scientist with the running of major specialist functions and projects within the department. The jobholder will assist the management and scientists and in key aspects of internal training and development activities for selected other I&I Scientists.



* Bachelor of Science/Arts (BS/BA) degree or related field.
* Experience may be substituted for education.
* Familiar with the use of standard laboratory equipment.
* Experience with analytical instrumentation is desired.
* Basic knowledge of computers and software programs.


Minimum Required:

* At least 1-2 years of Experience in the job discipline.
* At least 2 years of related Experience for an external hire.
* Experience with ELISA and/or Flow Cytometry preferred.
