HR Administration

* Be responsible for HR admin support to all Japan employees
* Issues employee certificate/letters in a timely manner
* Files employee personal file and other HR relating files in a timely manner
* Coordinates and administrate the new hire onboarding and termination process
* Be responsible for new hire orientation coordination and conducts HR admin part of orientation
* Prepares and submits Labor Office related documents
* Collaborates with other HR functions to conduct activities
* Executes any other ad-hoc administrative duties and process improvements related to HR operations

Payroll & Benefit

* Be the first point of contact for all payroll and benefits queries from Covance Japan employees
* Conducts tasks related to the payroll process including time and attendance system related activities
* Conducts payment of retirement allowance and other benefits
* Coordinates company physician's visit (announce, set up meets, file documents etc.) and medical checkup related activities

HRBP Support

* Supports and assists local HR business partner HRBP) on day-to-day issues and projects
* Prepares and coordinate meetings and trainings for HRBP
* Provides HRIS reports to business unit managers and HRBP

Education/Qualifications

* Business level English and Native level Japanese
* Computer Skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint
* Attention to details and discreet on sensitive personnel issues
* Self motivator, client orientation and a team player in multicultural setting

Experience

* 2 to 3 years of HR administrator Experience (payroll, social insurance and labor law knowledge is preferable)
* Tax or legal background is a plus
* Track record of successful communication in virtual team/supervisor
