Job Overview

Sample Coordinator Entry-Level

This position learns to perform basic sample accession responsibilities in compliance with appropriate SOPs and regulatory guidelines, in support of Safety Assessment, Metabolism and Bioanalytical operations.

Essential Job Duties:

* Learns sample accession core tasks, including box opening, inventory/labeling, receipt/store, and pulls/returns.
* Learns to use sample tracking systems (Nautilus) as appropriate to maintain sample and study integrity.
* Learns accurate protocol and SAO interpretation.
* Learns review of sample inventory against samples received to determine accuracy.
* Learns review of client paperwork against data entries to ensure accuracy.
* Learns to document and communicate discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
* Learns to plan, prioritize, and manage team and individual workloads and multiple responsibilities.
* Contributes to a cohesive team environment.
* Communicates effectively with internal customers.
* Supports process improvement initiatives.
* Performs other related duties as assigned.


High School Diploma or equivalent

Basic working knowledge of computers

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to prioritize and manage time

Customer service skills including communication skills, accuracy, efficiency, and confidentiality
