As a key member of the Informatics team, you will be responsible for leading the testing efforts on the development of high performing and aesthetically pleasing software solutions designed for web and mobile delivery to enable scalable, secure and intuitive access to data by Covance's global network of employees, partners, and clients. Working in a highly collaborative environment, you will help drive quality by working with internal and external engineering teams to ensure adherence to requirements and industry regulations.

* Develop Integration and System test strategies for project and maintenance releases of software solutions.
* Mentor and guide testers.
* Present and defend the test strategy.
* Lead a team of system testers by managing workload against testing timelines.
* Provide quality review to system testers.
* Write and execute Integration, Regression, and System test scripts.
* Ensure compliance with validation procedures and standards.
* Provide technical guidance to performance testers.


* BS/MS in computer science, information systems, life sciences.

* Is clear about one's own and the company's goals and focuses on seeing the work through to completion. Consistently set ambitious performance and work standards for oneself, seeking to achieve standards of excellence beyond requirements.

* The candidate needs to have attention to detail and the ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects.
* This person must be a flexible, self-motivated team player with a positive attitude.
* The candidate must possess strong communications skills.
* Open to learn and migrate to new technologies



* Has good Experience in reading and understanding requirements, testing automation, quality assurance and integration methodologies.

* Individual must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and have demonstrated good problem solving and analytical skills.
* Proven ability to work effectively as a team lead and can work with limited or no supervision on projects.
* Proven ability to follow priorities and timelines.
* 5+ Years Experience working with formal Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies
* 3+ Years Experience in analyzing requirements and designing and executing test strategies.
* 2+ years Experience in mentoring testing teams.
* 2+ years Experience developing test strategies
* Has practical Experience (1+ year) with one or more test automation tools.
* Experience in a regulated environment with knowledge of audit expectations with regard to testing.
* SQL development Experience


* Experience in pharmaceutical R&D, clinical development and/or healthcare IT.
