Covance is currently hiring a Program Associate onsite at the Gaithersburg, MD location.

The Program Associate will be responsible for:

* Supporting the operations of InTeleCenter® programs including, but not limited to, reimbursement hotlines, patient assistance programs, safety surveillance programs and compliance programs
* Helping patients or providers access the product(s) they need by responding to phone, fax, web and email requests from customers, who include physicians and their staff, hospital staff, pharmacists, patients, family members or friends of patients, distributors, and clients
* Preparing monthly and ad hoc project specific reports
* Assigning work to other members of their team. The Program Associate also serves as a subject matter expert on their programs and is first point of contact for all escalated calls

Education/Qualifications

The Program Associate ideally will hold a Bachelor's degree or evidence of continual work toward a degree strongly preferred. Associates without a degree must have a High School Diploma or GED, and ideally should have six or more years of healthcare or customer service work Experience .

Experience

The Program Associate ideally should have at least three or more years of prior healthcare, reimbursement, or other customer service work Experience . Years of prior call center and team leadership Experience preferred. The Program Associate must be comfortable supporting staff by leading, organizing, and establishing program training, and providing guidance as necessary per program guidelines. In addition the Program Associate must have Experience working with data.
