Clinical Data Analyst

The Data Analyst oversees the integrity and maintenance of client data, conducts full lifecycle analysis, and develops analysis and reporting capabilities. Additional responsibilities include:

* Optimize statistical efficiency and quality of clinical data for large clinical trials
* Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
* Create and build data transfer queries and specifications of data reporting for various clients
* Aid in the generation of requirements for validation, assist in software validation, and locate and correct coding issues
* Define, run and review edit checks and resolve discrepant data
* Collaborate with other groups and departments to identify and implement data corrections
* Ensure the accuracy in manipulation and scrutiny of clinical trial data ensuring compliance to applicable regulatory guidelines

This is a virtual opportunity and can be located anywhere in the US.

What we're looking for

The qualifications of an ideal candidate include:

* A Bachelor's degree, preferably in science or a related field, with at least 5 years of Experience working with clinical trial data
* Demonstrated technical expertise in data models, database design development, data mining, and data segmentation
* Strong working knowledge of statistics and Experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (SAS, Excel, SPSS, etc.)
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of data efficiently and accurately
* Adept at queries, report writing, and presentation of findings with a strong drive for process optimization and data integrity
* Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and manage in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of initiative
* Working knowledge of and Experience with reporting packages, databases (SQL), and programming (XML, Java, ET frameworks) is highly preferred

Education/Qualifications
