Analytical Chemist - BioAnalysis

Position is located in Madison, WI. Relocation assistance provided for the right candidate.

Required: Intermediate level of expertise in analytical chemistry, chromatographic methods of analysis and instrumentation troubleshooting.

In this role you will be a key contributor to the department by independently performing accurate, routine chemical testing on biological samples via HPLC-MS/MS consistent with the goals of the BioA department. You will also be expected to:

* Organizes and conducts routine analyses on biological samples via HPLC-MS/MS in compliance with applicable methods, protocols, SOPs, and regulatory agency guidelines.
* Provide input and participates in project meetings, plans, monitors and guides project work.
* Maintain study documentation and laboratory records. Perform quality control review of data.
* Inform Study Director and/or management of any problems and/or deviations that may affect integrity of the data; participate in corrective action of problems
* Participate in process improvement initiatives.
* Train and assists less Experience d staff.
* Evaluate data for report preparation and experiment modification as directed.
* Plans individual workload in coordination with team members.
* Assist in writing text for reports, methods or protocols.
* Participate in client visits as needed.

* Bachelor of Science/Arts (BS/BA) degree in chemistry or related scientific field
* Relevant Bioanalytical Experience may be substituted for education


* Typically requires 2-3 years of related Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
* Working knowledge with HPLC-MS/MS and/or GC.
* Knowledgeable on a variety of study types, analysis procedures and methodology.
* Familiarity with cGLP and Federal regulations.
* Able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.
